More and more flowers are blooming. Some trees are covered in blossoms. The walkways are often covered in petals.
The last few days have really been wonderful weather, though Saturday the wind started blowing really hard. Waiting to see how the next week turns out.
(Ok, so I am a sucker for flowers!)
It is like this around my neighbourhood too. On a small walk yesterday I saw (and inhaled) violets thickly growing, daphne, blossom every where of course, the first jasmine, and a tree loaded with the orangest comquats. (I am going to ask them if I can have some for marmalade).

To me, Melbourne is at its most beautiful in August. Sounds like you stay in a really beautiful area!
