The first time we went to Grant’s Picnic Grounds, we were really surprised at the size of the cockatoos. They are terribly big and heavy birds. And there are lots of them! With our last visit I managed to catch a few coming in to land.
Sorry this is a short post. It seems that allergy season has hit. I feel like my head is stuffed full of marshmallows that are expanding! I am off to bed so I can be chirpy tomorrow. Going to go to the fairy garden to get some shots for my class assignment.
Magnificent photoes! these are just so wonderful. I once camped on a mountain where the cockatoos were so loud we couldn't hear ourselves speak! These photoes remind me of it!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like them Joy! They really are noisy birds. Every now and then something startles them, then they all fly up into the branches and make a ton of noise
