Fix It Friday at iHeartFaces

This week’s photo is really sweet.  The (very serious) little one has beautiful eyes, but I felt they got a little lost amongst all the blue in the image.  The lighting was also a little bit distracting, with most of his face in shadow. (Our eyes tend to go to the brightest part of the image first.)

I warmed the image a little, cropped it and sharpened the eyes.  Also added some texture.

Be sure to check out the other entries (my post might be up a little early, since my Friday starts before theirs!)

  11. For sharpening, I used Pioneer Woman's "Brighten Eyes" (separately for each eye and set the layers to low opacity - around 15- 20%) and then I used her "Sharpen This" action, also at a lower opacity.
Glad everyone likes this so much! :)

  14. Erica, try the Filter in Photoshop (Texture | Texturiser) I used a texture, then ran the filter for extra texture
Her actions are awesome, aren't they Amanda! :D
