Penguins in Melbourne

We went with friends to the aquarium again this morning.  The kids were extremely excited to see “Happy Feet”.

This is a tricky area to photograph since the snow is really bright, especially right next to the dark water.  You are not allowed to use flash in this area.  I used my 50mm 1.8 lens.  I got some nice photos I couldn’t get last time.

 

   

There were a lot less people, so we managed to see more of the penguins swimming.  The little ones loved sitting in front of the big window, watching them race by.  Their speed is phenomenal.

 

I will post some more photos of the trip later.  Just have to organise dinner for the kids.
