Turtles in the Melbourne Aquarium

The biggest section of the aquarium was really beautiful.  We arrived as the feeding of the fish (and turtle) started.  The one shark in the tank is apparently been extinct in the wild since the 1970.  It was very emotional to watch it swim around.

The divers wear hard helmets because the sharks “nuzzle” their heads and the divers are a little fond of their ears and would like to keep them!

This pretty little puffer fish was in one of the last displays.  I have not seen them with the bright yellow before.

There is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle promotion running at the aquarium at the moment.  We did not watch much of it, since the area was really crowded.  It did get all the children there very excited.  Unfortunately the turtles don’t stand still, ever!
